Showcased Volunteer Opportunity Book Drive:
We are holding a book drive at the New River Valley Mall on Friday, Feb. 12 (7 a.m. - 9 p.m.) and Saturday, Feb. 13
(7 a.m. - 3 p.m.). We need at least 2 people there at all times to assist donors. We will sign up volunteers for times they wish to
cover--they should send an email with their available times to
nrvbooksale@aol.com and
put "Book Drive Volunteer" in the subject line.
Book Sale: The annual book sale is Feb. 25-28.
If individuals or the group can assist in any of the following, again, send an email to
nrvbooksale@aol.com with
available times and put the designated event title in the subject line:

Floyd Co. and Pulaski Co. |
Volunteers select areas they can cover and are asked to keep a list of locations visited: stores, doctors’
offices, beauty shops, restaurants, etc. Don’t forget apartment complex offices, etc. We’ll train volunteers regarding what we
need. |
