February Book Sale Announced!
LVNRV’s 14th Annual Used Book Sale was held February 16-19, 2012,.

The Sale was a huge success generating just over $8,500 in sales.

Be on the look out for future book sales!

The Sixth Annual Scrabble Tournament was held on October 18, 2011 at the German Club. 

A special thank you for all that were able to attend and make it another great success! We look forward to seeing you next year!

Thanks to the Community Foundation of the New River Valley and the North Family Fund for approving our grant request for $750 to purchase a new laptop for our ESL coordinator! It was desperately needed.

Literacy Volunteers of the New River Valley participated in a piece on Illiteracy in Virginia for the local NPR station.
